This Woman with the Issue of Blood
This Woman with the Issue of Blood
Still Believing
“And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood…” 88% of her blood was stricken of multiple myeloma…”and had not bettered, but rather grew worse”…was given the prognosis—DEATH. She wavered not. For, decade after decade, she heard ingrained in her bones from a song her mother emphatically crooned, “I know a Man that can heal your body. JESUS is that Man that can heal your body. He can heal your body and your soul!” So, it came as no surprise that when she heard the news of cancer overtaking the marrow of her bones—she shifted not in her belief in God’s power. In fact, this woman only stood more firm. She imbedded her feet in the depths of the cliff in the assurance that God WILL heal!
When given the urgent directive to have a blood transfusion; this Woman fervently refused.
When told due to the weakness of her bones; she would be walking bent over and hunched, her gallant gait straightened the more.
When provided the life expectancy of someone in her condition that death was eminent; she rebounded the report from her spirit and remained unbothered and surpassed statistics.
However, when she heard the prophecies from her two sisters that resounded within the confines of the blessed curtains profess complete healing from the crown of her head to the soles of her feet, she wrapped her faith around them, allowing the prophesies to ferment and seep into each cell of her tainted blood.
The Lord God is Real to Me
“When she heard of Jesus…she said, ‘If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.’
It was during a Communion Service—the moment of feet washing. The Apostle took off his cloak passed down from his predecessor and draped The Woman. Rejoicing in her soul, The Woman knew of the power that emanated from The Apostle’s garment—for HE brought healing.
The Woman walked about the sanctuary, inviting each sister to share in the virtue she KNEW completely had cleansed her ‘issue.’ The sisters no longer sat on the sideline of The Woman’s brush with her issue of blood. Instead, they were removed from the seat of spectator, to taking part in the anticipation of remarkable news. It was akin to hearing the news from being transitioned from no longer being a ‘Sinner’ to transitioning to God’s ‘Friend’ then graduating to ‘Sainthood.’ The Saints were able to rejoice alongside another Saint.

And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.”
Month in and month out, progression of The Woman’s bones bettered. The Doctor ordered for a procedure called a bone aspiration, which is a chipping away of The Woman’s bone in order to detect its strength or weakness as proof of the might of her bones. During her last bone aspiration procedure, a testament rang out from the Nurse performing the procedure, that after three attempts of the chipping away, she professed; “I’ve seen several patients with multiple myeloma over the years; but these are NOT bones of a multiple myeloma patient.” For what the Nurse didn’t know is that she was testing the IMAGE, the LIKENESS of God Himself!
He has done Great Things—I will Bless the Lord, Oh My Soul
But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And The Woman was made whole from that hour.”
On Wednesday, September 11, 2019, The Woman was given news by her physician that she was 100% cancer free—she was in “complete remission.” The Doctor had to declare that SHE put in all the work; it was not of his doing. After the receipt of such extraordinary news, he held out his hands, and stated; “let’s pray:
We thank you for bringing us here together today. We thank you for the family that’s here and for the family who’s away…we know that you’ve placed us in the palm of your hand. We thank you, Lord for the remission and we pray that her remission is permanent—that it lasts forever—forever and ever. All glory belongs to you because we know it was you. We pray that this day be set as a memorial. We thank you for all things, in the name of Jesus Christ—Amen.”
Oh, Yes He Will, I Tried Him for Myself
“And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, which had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any…”
This woman, bearing striking resemblance to The Woman with the issue of blood only remains different because we can put a name to THIS witness—Saint Angela Hughes. A living testimony to the power of GOD. She unwaveringly KNEW her Healer; therefore, she ardently testified the news of what was already prophesied—COMPLETE HEALING! Saint Angela never gave into any news that may have been opposed to what she knew God would do. She believed in the prophesies—she believed in the Man of God’s words, virtue, and touch—more importantly, she believed in God Himself. She was obstinate against doubt, and refused to allow it to enter into her spirit, so much so that her Doctor told her, “Whatever you’re telling yourself, keep doing it because it’s working.” No worries were given to multiple myeloma—she left it in the hands of the Almighty God. Saint Angela put HER faith to the test, and allowed it to prevail all while praising Him and setting her sights upward towards eternity as she travailed her journey.
Testify of Him—The Fruit of His Labor is You
“And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live?…Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live: and I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am the Lord.”
In God’s infinite wisdom, He placed Saint Angela in the hands of the number 1 Doctor in the world who studies multiple myeloma. Upon first visit, he confidently professed that 99% of his diagnoses were accurate. However, when up against God Himself, Saint Angela is the 1% the Doctor erred. Saint Angela is proof not only in the power of Christ Jesus, but also stands as evidence of the Angel in the land today, Apostle Patterson. He has prophesied to her bones that she may live, so, not even the news of a debilitating, bone shedding, deadly disease can withstand her faith—in God or in God’s word coming out as rocks from the tongue of his Apostle, Anthoneé J. Patterson. He has given us the proclamation that we have conquered death; therefore, Saint Angela lives on.
